Spirit- a black she-cat with white flecks and one silver eye and one black eye. She is a rouge who has a deep respect for starclan. She is like a clan cat in a way because she patrols her territory and has a freshkill pile. She is fierce and never backs down from a challenge. She hates cats who act high and mighty and always is ready for a battle. Spirit has special prophetic dreams and has a sense of telling what someone is feeling.

Spirit curled her lip, driving the harsh tang of the monsters from her nose. The filthy water was soaking her paws, sending an unearthly chill through her bones. Spirit shook herself, she was being silly, Spirit was strong and fierce. The stupid two-leg world was not going to get to her. Spirit plodded on ears pricked to hear the sound of prey, or hostile cats. She hissed, her belly rumbling. Days of starvation was beginning to sap her strength. Her pelt was ungroomed and dull, and Spirit constantly ached, having not found a permanent or warm sleeping hollow. Giving up hunting for the night, she curled up under a straggly bush, its leaves bent as though it was also struggling this leafbare. Spirit sighed resting her head on her paws, wishing, for once in her life, that she had company, food, warmth, and love, something to keep her going, to not make her think her whole life was. Okay get up now, time to hunt, practice fighting, find new den, groom, sleep. Spirits life was so predictable, but maybe she would have a chance for that to change. Her silver and black eye turned glazed, then she slowly drifted off into an uneasy dream.

The Story:

Shadekit was tired. She was sick of the nursery and all the people in it, the didnt like her, and she didn't like them, that was that. It wasn't her fault she had 2 different coloured eyes, so why did they seem to blame her for it. Shadekit grumbled to herself as he padded across the clearing to select a small mouse from the pile. She was 3 moons old, 3 more moons and she would be an appretnice, she could taste the excitement on her tounge.
"Shadekit, inside now" Blackfur snapped from the nursery. Shadekit turned around in time to see her mothers black plumy tail dissapearing into the prickly stems.
"Don't take it to hard" a deep mew sounded from behind her. Shadekit turned around to see her leader Stormstar appear from the gorse tunnel "we all have our bad days, and your mothers been," he paused "difficult since Fadinglight died. Shadekit flinched, she hated it when people brought up her father.
